Cruz O.A. Intergroup invites you to our annual retreat:
“Surrender and
Solace in the Redwoods”
September 12th,
13th, &14th
Friday 3 PM to
Noon Sunday
Come join us in the redwoods for a weekend of OA. Relax by the campfire while
listening to tales of hope, strength and recovery. Breathe fresh air, camp under
the stars, play in the creek and get closer to your HP. Please bring an
expression of your creativity and/or gratitude for a special sharing around the
campfire Saturday evening.
Pre-registration is $30 for the weekend, $20 for a day. This includes your
campsite, firewood, coffee, tea, Saturday evening fruit salad and all workshops.
Registration deadline is September 5th. Register at the retreat for $35 for the
weekend, $25 for a day. (Scholarships and work exchange are available- ask us.)
Directions & needed map will be sent when you register. Carpooling is
recommended. Location is 16 miles north of Santa Cruz off Highway 1. This is a
lovely, private but primitive camping area – with an outhouse but no showers.
Sorry, no pets except service animals.
Suggestions of items to bring:
Camping equipment, Container for water
Food, beverages, Items to eat and cook with, mug,
Fruit for Saturday fruit salad
Flashlight (hand held), Mosquito repellant,
Comfortable clothes (jacket, long pants, long sleeves, 2 pair of shoes, layers
for damp and cold weather),
Kleenex, Bottled water, Alarm clock, Journal,
Yoga mats, Water shoes (there is a creek to play in)
Anything else you may need to be comfortable
